Once upon a time, there was a man and a woman. They came to this earth, they were living here, eating good food, running around to beautiful places and living their life.
Then they realised they need something more to make this society, they need more like them to create this humankind. Then they realised they are capable of creating a life on their own and one of them can bring a new life to this earth. It was woman.
So, It was decided that they want to bring a new life to this earth.
The woman said- “yes, I am going to do this job”
Man: “You know what, you are doing an important job of brining a new life and creating the humankind, and my work here is done, so I am gonna go out and get something to eat for you and the little child, so that I can contribute to society.
Woman: "Yes, makes sense, thank you"
The man went out to get something because he was physically strong and wanted to be a part of childbirth while woman stayed at home because she was creating this life inside her.
At this time, humans were hunters and they were living in tribes. Men were sleeping around with different women and women were sleeping around with different men.
When the child was born, and it was the child of the tribe, the whole tribe was raising it because it was not known who the father was.
Then the times changed.
Humans stopped hunting and started settling down at one place. They started gathering food and soon started gathering lands to produce their own food.
Woman saw that the man is bringing home more food than they need and they have more land than they need. Man got influenced by the property.
Women got influenced by the possessiveness of motherhood. At times, she did not want felt like sharing the love of her child with the tribe. Something that was truly hers!
The possessiveness of wealth and love got to both man & woman.
Man said to the woman: “You know I was just looking around and I see that we have more food and land than we need, what are we going to do about this? We can probably give it to the tribe. Anyway, this guy from the tribe is really broke, I think he could use some help. What do you think”
Woman: Sounds good.
Man: “But, I don’t think I want to give my food and property to anyone. Wealth makes me powerful”
Woman: But that’s what we have been doing for a while, sharing food and property.
Man: Yeah, I don’t want to do that now.
Woman: Even I don’t want to share my chid’s love with the tribe.
You know why the man said that?
Remember what I said about ‘man went out to get food,
Because he thought his worth lies in the food and wealth he has earned. He thought he would lose his power and worth if he give it away. He felt powerful in his wealth.
Man: What are we going to do with all this food and wealth?
Woman: Well, I have an idea, we can bring our own child and give this food and wealth to them, it will be ours and it can live happily with all this food and property. And it will be like we are giving our wealth to someone who is really ours. But, How are we going to make sure that it is our child?
Man: Well, we know that the child you are gonna give birth to, is yours. To make sure that it is mine as well, I think you should stay at home and not sleep around until you give birth to my child.
Woman: Woohoo, what? That doesn’t make sense.
Man: I think. That’s the only way to ensure that child is really mine, only then I can give my wealth to him.
Woman: That doesn’t sound very comfortable to me. But if you say this is the only way, I think it’s not going to be that bad.
Man: It won’t be, trust me. And moreover, you can take rest as well.
Woman: Okay.
Remember, how first we were getting something to eat because we had children, now we were producing children because we had too much to eat.
That’s how man started to control the sexuality of woman, started to control their movement, started to keep them inside the houses. Because the man was scared if the woman goes out, someone might get her woman pregnant on the street.
So the man and woman separated from the tribe, they brought their own child in this world and shared the food and wealth with him.
Woman stayed at home, she got a little possessive about the child as well, because she didn’t want to share the love of raising the child. Raising a child was something that made her feel powerful.
Man went out to get more food for the family.
Slowly, woman started to realise that man is brining too much of food home. He got too involved in earning wealth and he was getting possessive about it. It scared her a little. The man’s love lies in his wealth and he was seeking someone to share the love by giving them wealth. The distance from emotions, love of the child and stress of earning made him more of a control freak.
As he was controlling things outside he wanted to control things in the family as well. As he felt losing control outside he got the urge to control woman and child more at home.
It began somewhere when the property became more important than emotions and happiness.
One day the man came home, he said: I was just looking around in the store, well, we have too much food. I think we should bring one more child to share this.
Woman: Are you nuts? I am not doing this process of staying at home and brining another child. And, you don’t know but it’s really painful.
They started fighting about it.
Woman said: You know what, I can’t do this. I am taking this child and I met this really amazing guy in the tribe, and he is really chill. He would happily raise this child and won’t even force me like you. And I can get my own food and also for the child, I was doing it for so long. I can do it on my own. I am going.
Man got really furious. He thought his worth lied in getting food for family and he will lose his worth and power if woman can get her own food.
What good he be for? He has no contribution in the society. He thought to himself.
But he still had one thing, he was physically more powerful than woman.
So he used his strength on woman, he hit her. He shut her inside the house. He raped her because he was too scared to lose his power.
That’s how man created his forge superiority on the woman.
That’s how women were enslaved to give birth, women were kept inside to make tribes more powerful, to govern the society and more importantly to pass on this wealth that the man was gathering.
This time too, a child was born. But it wasn’t same again.
Woman went through a lot of trauma, she went through post pregnancy trauma because this time she wasn’t ready to bring a child in this world.
Then the times changed again.
Women realised she has no feeling of motherhood for this child. She realised just because she is capable of reproducing, doesn’t mean she has to always. It was not her job. It was only something she wanted to do, when she wanted to do.
Woman said to the man: “Just because I have a vagina, doesn’t mean I am meant to produce kids. It’s like saying, just because I have a fist, I must punch all”.
Man said: What are you saying, that’s all you have been doing all this while. All you have done in your life is to produce kids. What do you mean that’s not your job.
Woman: I don’t want to do that anymore.
Man: Really, where will you go, what will you do, how will you get the food. You need me. You have no place to stay and no food to eat. How are you going to take care of the children.You are nothing without me, I am superior to you, it’s because of me and the food I got and the wealth I acquired that you have lived a happy life.
Woman: No, I was happy in raising children until you forced it on me, It wasn’t because of your wealth that I was happy. You were happy in that wealth, not me. You didn’t see that all this time.
Man: You are crazy, You haven’t been out in a long time, you have no idea how the other man are. They are going to do the same with you, even worse. They are going to force you to have their children, they are going to rape and violate you and they are not even going to give you comfort like I do.
She got a little scared at first.
And little did he know, he was the man he was talking about.
Woman: Haven’t you heard?
Man: What?
Woman: There are new things in the market, chilly pepper, that makes a man blind. I will use that and run away. Haven’t you heard? There are contraceptives in the market. No man can force me to have a child until I want to. And dare if you stop me now, they have guns too I have heard. They call it: bullet for my valentine.
Man: And are you going to live in this constant fear of rape and harassment?
Woman: I have lived this fear inside my own house. I don’t see how outside is more unsafe for me. I have had enough of trauma.
Man realised there is nothing he could do. A woman is capable of living on her own, getting her own livelihood, sustaining herself, she could survive without him. It left him hopeless.
Woman realised this too. That she doesn’t need to go through so much of oppression of man. It was long time that she has been fooled by man who said to her that she need him to survive. She realised she could make a better life for herself.
Man: Don’t go, and I am not going to let you take the children away. All this I have done is for them.
Woman: Children, they would rather be with me. They don’t want to be with you. You haven’t spend anytime with them, you don’t know them. Don’t you see they need more of love than your your wealth? Don’t you see they we all need more of love than wealth.
Man: What do you want me do? What can I do to make you stay. All I ever wanted was love too and power which I felt in money and property.
Woman: What you needed to do, you should have done that a long ago. You should not have considered me smaller than you. You should have considered me equal to you, you shouldn’t have forced me. You shouldn’t have oppressed me. It’s too late now. I am going.

Do you know we made three mistakes in the history?
First, we thought just because a woman can reproduce, she has to reproduce. It’s her job.
Men shouldn’t have forced women, because that made us miserable, that made children miserable.
Second, we thought a man’s worth lies in his ability to get food. That’s wasn’t true and that’s how he got his forge worth. And that’s why he needed again and again to realise his power. Women should have shared this happiness of raising a child with man. Man should have realise he is happy being loved that way. Instead of being in love with his wealth he can be in love with love!
And that third and the biggest mistake we made, we completely forgot the other gender- Transgenders. Only if we had given equal importance in understanding them.
We had the answer from nature right in front of us, that just because someone has a vagina, she isn’t meant to produce children. Just because a man has a penis, doesn’t mean he has to go out and get food and raise a family.
Just because someone has a vagina, she has to be feminine.
Just because someone has a penis, she has to be masculine.
That person had our answers and we didn’t listen to them.
And how stupid are we?
Nature created three beings- man, woman and trans.
We completely forgot the third one. We ignored them, we have no account of their history. What they did. We haven’t been able to understand the most basics of nature, and we call ourselves modern and developed? Ironic, right?
Now is the time. We women are smart now. We are smart enough to realise we are not any less than man. We have means to stop you, not let you violate us, we can control our own sexuality, we have contraceptives, one pill and you can spend all your life asking for a child, it won’t happen. You can’t force us. We are unstoppable now.
That’s when I bow for the feminists who started this fight.
I am thankful, that they started this fight saying we are equal and not superior.
I am thankful, that this fight of feminism is about equality, equality of all, not just woman.
I have huge respect for the feminists now, because they are fighting this fight, not to win, but to create this world a better place.
Next time you see a feminist, you thank them, not for fighting just for women, but for all of us.
And ask them why do they believe in feminism, if they don’t say they believe in equality for all, tell them they are not feminists.
We should be thankful to the feminists, because despite years of oppression we are still here to fight for all of us, even those who have oppressed us.
We are not just saying, all women are not meant to have children.
We are also saying, all men are not meant to go out and work and earn capital.
